Our Story

Gifts for Colorado Kids was started in 2018 when the Guardian Ad Litems asked for help in fulfilling gift lists.  The first year, approximately 80 children received gifts, simply off of Facebook posts.  In 2020, it was determined, based on donation requests, that this project should become official.  In 2020, Gifts for Colorado Kids became an official organization.  We also provided gifts for approximately 400 children. In February 2021, we received non-profit status from the IRS.  The picture is one of our first car loads of gifts.
